Evan Dory: Baseball

Evan is a sophomore catcher for the Hoya varsity baseball team and has been a welcome addition to the team this season. His work ethic and commitment to a Team first attitude is one of those positive attributes of Evan’s character. He comes to the ballpark every day ready to get better with the mindset that “THE TEAM” comes FIRST. We look forward to Evan’s continued progress on our team during this season.

Tate Coston: Boys Tennis

Tate is currently our number one singles player for the Hoya tennis team. He is always playing the best player from our opposing schools and is currently ranked as the #1 player in our region as well as being undefeated in region play. He consistently hustles for every ball, makes every point count and is willing to adapt his game in order to take advantage of his opponent’s weaknesses. As we like to say about Tate in our program, there are no weaknesses to his game. He is a five-tool player. Each year, Tate has moved up the player ranking in our program, his sophomore season he played #3 singles, player #2 singles last season and is now our #1 player. We will go as far as he can take us in the state tournament this year.

Dillan Bousquet: Boys Lacrosse

Dillan represents the soul of the men’s lacrosse team. He is the fiercest competitor on our roster and leads by example and effort on the field. He has been the most consistent player on the roster in every game this year and has fought through the flu and nagging little injuries while never complaining and pushing everyone on the field to work harder. He has come to the coaches with ideas about how to motivate the team and how to get the team to perform better. Our push towards a playoff run in the state tournament will depend on Dillan’s leadership and continued example.

Harry Deltac: Boys Soccer

Harry is a captain and outstanding player on the boys soccer team. Coach Jon Gross states that Harry is one of the most talented players I have ever coached. As a senior mid-fielder/striker, Harry leads lead the team in goals and assists. In a huge game against crosstown rival Kennesaw Mountain, Harry’s work helped the Hoyas give the Mountain their first defeat of the season with a 1-0 win for the Hoyas. Earlier against Lassiter he recorded the “hat trick” (3 goals) in an 8-5 Hoya victory.
