Hoya Rifle Team member Josey Boyd

Congratulation to Harrison Rifle team member Josey Boyd on being selected as the only NJROTC cadet from Cobb County to participate in the Precision Class competition in Anniston, Alabama.  Josey finished 11th out of forty five national competitors and was one of five Georgia cadets invited to participate.

2nd Round GHSA Playoffs – Girls Basketball

The Lady Hoya basketball team will travel to Parkview High School on Friday evening to play the Lady Panthers in the 2nd Round of the GHSA  state playoffs.  The game will begin at 7pm and all tickets will be $7.00.  Let’s make the trip over to Gwinnett and cheer on our girls as they attempt

Varsity baseball opener on Wednesday @ 4:30pm

The Hoya baseball team will begin regular season play on Wednesday, February 17th at 4:30pm vs. the Wheeler Wildcats at Don Shaw Field.  Come out and support our players and coaches. Go Hoyas.

Lady Hoya basketball enters State Playoffs as Region 4 # 2 seed

The Lady Hoyas came up just short of a region championship on Saturday night as they lost a close game to the McEachern Lady Indians.  As the region runner-up, the Lady Hoyas will next host the Lowndes Vikettes on Tuesday, February 16th at the Presidential Gym at 6pm.  The winner will advance to the 2nd

JV Girls Win Region Championship

The JV girls ended their season today unlike all other jv teams in the region tournament, with a WIN! Harrison, under the guidance of rookie head coach, Megan Walsh, managed to only lose 1 game the entire season, and ironically that one loss came to the team they defeated in today’s championship game. Hoya Baseball season begins this Saturday

The Hoya baseball team would like to invite you to come out to Harrison this Saturday for the annual baseball scrimmage vs. Roswell High School at 1pm.

Congrats to the Hoya wrestlers

The Hoya wrestling team had six team members qualify for the GHSA state sectional this coming weekend at Mill Creek High School.  The following wrestlers will advance to sectionals, Jacob Kruger, Jordan Kruger, Sam Kiefer, Tate Wells (Region Champion), George Felouzis (Region Champion), and Charlie Barton (Region Champion).

Congratulations to the Harrison Rifle team on its victory over Haralson County last week.  Jennings Curd shot a season high score of 284 with fourteen “10’s”.  Great job Hoyas.
