Congrats to the Hoya rifle team

Congratulations to the Harrison Rifle team on its victory over Haralson County last week.  Jennings Curd shot a season high score of 284 with fourteen “10’s”.  Great job Hoyas.

Hoya basketball at the Mountain (rescheduled for Feb.3rd)

Tonight’s Hoya basketball games have been rescheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 3rd. 4:30pm:  JV Boys in main gym, 9th grade boys in small gym 6:00pm:  Varsity boys in main gym, JV girls in small gym 7:30pm:  Varsity girls in main gym

GACA All State Softball

Congratulations to senior Mikenzie Vaughn and freshman Jaiden Fields on being selected as members of the GACA 1st Team All State Team for Class 6A.  This was Mikenzie’s second consecutive year being selected as a first team member.  Junior pitcher Emily Kachel was chosen to the 2nd Team All State team.  Congratulations girls.

Harrison wrestlers come out to support Junior program

Many of our Harrison wrestlers traveled over to Hillgrove to support the Jr. Hoyas as they wrestled the Hawks earlier this week.  Pictured is senior Tate Wells with Jr. Hoya wrestler Grady Sitten.  Go Hoyas….

Fall standings for the GADA Cup

The Harrison Hoya athletic program is currently in 5th place in the overall Class 6A standings after the completion of the fall sport’s season.  On the girls side, the Lady Hoyas currently sit in second place as we move into the winter sport’s season.  Great effort thus far by our players and coaches.

H2oyas win the Mustang Invitational

Congratulations to the Harrison H2oyas on placing 1st in the 16th annual Mustang Invitational this past weekend.  The girls team finished first and the boys team finished third for an overall team finish of 1st place.

Tate Wells wins Outstanding Wrestler

Senior Tate Wells was chosen as the Most Outstanding Wrestler at this past weekend’s Hoya Wrestling Invitational.  Wells won his weight class and helped lead the young Hoyas to a 2nd place finish behind Grayson High School in the Invitational.  Congratulations to Tate and the rest of the Hoya wrestlers and coaches.
